Bog‘i Behisht Park
A Hundred Hectares of Wonder
Tashkent, Uzbekistan | Landscape Architecture & Park Masterplanning
A new landscape vision for Uzbekistan, where monumental scale meets the art of creating extraordinary places.
Envisioned as a landmark destination in Tashkent, Bog‘i Behisht Park represents an ambitious approach to contemporary landscape architecture. Spanning approximately 100 hectares, the project reimagines the traditional concept of a public park, transforming an extensive territory into a remarkable sequence of landscapes, experiences and cultural spaces.
Designed by SF Landscape Architecture, under the creative direction of Stefano Filippini, the masterplan explores the relationship between nature, architecture and human experience, establishing a distinctive identity rooted in the spirit of Uzbekistan.
Sculpting the Landscape
At the heart of the project lies a powerful design gesture: the transformation of the existing terrain into an entirely new topographical composition.
Artificial hills, sculpted landforms, gentle valleys and elevated terraces redefine the landscape, creating a dynamic dialogue between open spaces, vegetation and water.
Rather than simply occupying the land, the design reshapes it, generating new perspectives, unexpected visual connections and a continuously evolving spatial experience.
A Journey Through Nature and Architecture
Monumental tree-lined avenues, expansive lawns, ornamental lakes, promenades and open-air amphitheatres come together in a carefully orchestrated landscape masterplan.
Each environment has its own character, yet all are connected through a coherent design language that balances geometry, natural forms and architectural expression.
Water becomes a defining element, reflecting the surrounding landscape and introducing moments of tranquility within the park’s monumental composition.
The result is a destination conceived for discovery, social interaction, leisure and contemplation.
An Italian Design Vision for Central Asia
Bog‘i Behisht Park embodies the international approach of SF Landscape Architecture, bringing Italian design sensibility to one of Central Asia’s most ambitious landscape projects.
Through a thoughtful balance of contemporary landscape design, cultural identity and environmental considerations, the project aims to establish a meaningful connection between people and place.
More than a public park, Bog‘i Behisht is envisioned as a new landscape landmark for Tashkent — a place where nature becomes architecture and the landscape itself becomes an experience.
